I am currently working on patching my vcenter server 5.5 from version 3252642 to 6516310. I came across the vmware article where it says that I have to update this in sequence as follows SSO --> Vcenter Client --> Inventory Service --> Vcenter Server --> Java Components --> tc Server ,etc. I already have Vcenter SS0 and Vcenter Inventory Service up to date. Can I start upgrading Vcenter Server directly?

We have a vCloudDirector 9.5 managed vCenter (6.7) with NSX for vSphere (6.4.4).
Now we had to install a new second vCenter for another vmware solution (it can not be used with a vCD managed vCenter.)
i created a cross vCenter NSX Installation (the new vCenter without vCloudDirector is bound the secondary nsx manager), with a universal transportzone.
Everything works fine. I can create new networks in NSX, can attach them to my vCloudDirectors Edge Gateway, and on the oder side to some VM's in the other vCenter.
it's great.
But 2 points:
-how can i create the new universal-transport-zone networks from vcloud director?
-i added the universal transport zone in vCloud Director (add Networkpool), but i can't assign the new pool to virtal dataceters.
How can i move some vCloudDirector networks the new vxlan pool with the universal transportzone?

In vRealize Orchestrator 7.4, I have a case where I need to execute a workflow as another vRealize Orchestrator user in an automated fasion. According to the API Explorer, Workflow.execute supports three parameters: properties (Object), uname (Object), and pwd (string). I have the following code:

What am I doing wrong? My suspicion is that it does not want a string for the uname parameter, but am unsure what else I can provide as an argument here. Or if there's a better way I can achieve running a workflow as a different user programatically, I'm all ears.
I ran skyline a few months ago before upgrading esxi host, vcenter etc ( 6.0 to 6.5u2) . However it is still showing critical errors which can be resolved by a patch on our previous version.(6.0)
The Skyline appliance was powered off during the upgrade time, and is now running. The collector has been going for a couple of days, and the findings show a recent date.

I found a suggestion to install/update Microsoft C++ runtime 32-bit (https://bukkit.org/threads/could-not-initialize-class-org-fusesource-jansi-internal-kernel32.86345/ ) -- done.
I also looked for '*jansi*.*' and '*fuse*.*' in the CloudClient lib founder but there were no matches.
Another suggestion was to ensure that Java had access to a Jansi DLL (MuleSoft Support Center ) -- I'm pretty sure I didn't have this installed on any other machine running CloudClient.
Any suggestions?

Anyone know if Fusion 10 or 11 will runs OK on an 09 MacPro flashed to 5.1??
Edit: Incidentally, Im told that flashing to 5.1 makes it equivalent to a 2010 MacPro model, which can run Mojave

Ich versuche bei dem USB-Controller KTU3FR-4P von inatek Passtrhough zu aktivieren.
Er wird in dern verfügbaren Geräten auch gelistet und ich kann auch mit "Passthrough umschalten" den Status auf "Aktiviert / Erfordert Neustart" setzten.
Nach einem Neustart ist er nur leider nicht Aktiv sondern immernoch auf "Aktiviert / Erfordert Neustart".
Weiß jemand woran das liegen kann?

We've in the process of upgrading to Horizon View 7.4 but are having intermittent issues with USB Redirection not pulling through.
The error in the Horizon client just says "USB Redirection is not available for this desktop". Weirdly half the time it works and half of the time it does not, even from the same underlying client.
Impacts multiple users from multiple desktops.

Windows 7 underlying and VDI
GPO set to Automatically Connect on Startup and When Inserted
Never happens on older version of Horizon View (6.x), which is still our production environment. Not sure if relevant but another oddity we see is that if a USB device is plugged in during start up, and redirection is working, the USB device installs itself on every login even when drivers are available. This is another thing that never used to happen on older version of Horizon.
Any ideas?

I have an odd issue I haven't seen before. The screen/colors for published apps in a Horizon deployment I've recently setup are a lot darker than normal. The Screenshot below shows Published Internet explorer on the left and native on the right. As you can see the colors are off. This is happening with every app published on the application server. Has anyone seen this issue before?
The issue only occurs when I use blast for the connection protocol. There is no color issue with PCoIP. Current Horizon version 7.4.0 build-7400497. connecting directly to connection server from the client. Thanks everyone!!!
Running on Mojave with 2 additional screens. Start Fusion and enter Unity with the active windows on one of the screens. Move a window to another Mac Space.
Result;:
When I move windows around, the background does not redraw. Somethings the window content does not redraw.
Move to Single Window. Not problems. window works.
Try to return to Unity. Removes all windows for a while and then returns to the single window mode.

upgraded to mojave on mac vmfusion is no longer working same problem as everyone else.
