I have a bootable portable hard drive of an old OSX 10.6.8 setup created using Carbon Copy and wondered if there was any way to create a suitable file from this to use virtually in Fusion on my new Macbook pro. I am very keen to keep the previous clone, as it has a programme on it which is no longer supported and does not run on the latest OSX but that we still use. The ultimate result would be to have the ability to run the old OSX in a full window alongside El Capitan, much like I run Windows and potentially share files on the desktop of both (again, something I do with the virtual version of Windows 7).
