Hi,
We have Oracle RAC 11.2.0.4 installation with ASM disks on Red Hat 6.5 VMs ( 2 node Oracle RAC installation). We are seeing the below error in rhel VMs /var/log/messages. It seems there is an I/O issue to the shared disks and as a result RAC database instance are crashing. Oracle support and Red hat support points the disk is not configured concurrent writes, and that's why this issue is happening.
We followed this VMware doc to setup the Oracle RAC instance. Please advise if anyone has faced the same issue and found a solution for this.
