As far as I know the max size of a VMFS-volume is 64 TB.
Now I came across a 114 TB VMFS-volume.
Questions:
how can such a large volume be created in the first place ?
will a large volume like that affect the performance of the hosts that have connected it ? (VMFS-heap-size)
In the same environment I noticed that vmkfstools -i does not create clones that are identical to the source vmdks. Can this be in anyway related ?
