I have deleted VMFS 5 storage to move it to new box but it seems like weird that I can't use this storage WITHOUT formatting. Every time I try to attach it ask me for formatting drive. I do not want to lose data any of VM on this drive and tried every option to recover the VM on it but nothing happened. I have another VMFS3 that seamlessly works on both system.
What the hell wrong with VMFS 5, this should be very simple process...
Can anybody tell me how to recover VM from this BOX. The only other difference is that this hard drive with is it's 10KRPM.
I have tried every possibility to recover it but like setting up resignature parameters, mounting to Linux live cd. There are three partition on this drive where first 2 after visible when I attached it to Windows but other shows up as unallocated.
