I passed my VCP today with a 77. I would have liked to have got a higher score but I'm happy all the same. I sat the I&C in 2007 but never took the exam. Recently got made redundant so though now would be a good time to knuckle down. I revised for about a month (even during my holiday to Fuerteventura). I read and re-read and then read once more all of the official docs contained at http://www.vmware.com/support/pubs/vi_pages/vi_pubs_35u2.html.
Question wording can catch you out so spend the time to read each one carefully. My approach was to whizz through it once answering all of the ones I was 100% on and then return to the ones I wasn't sure on, finally ending on the ones where I had to pretty much guess. Definitely answer every question even if it's a total guess.
